Review on Hada Labo Hydrating Snow Dew
Hi everyone! It has been a while since I last updated my blog.
BUT, here I am, excitedly introducing the upgraded version of my favourite Hada Labo Hydrating Water Gel -- Hada Labo Hydrating Snow Dew!!
Hada Labo Hydrating Snow Dew has replaced Hada Labo Hydrating Water gel with new formulation and texture.
Let's take a look at the ingredients~
Ingredients
Water, Glycerin, Propanediol, Pentylene Glycol, 1,2- Hexanediol, Isononyl Isononanoate, Sodium Acrylates Crosspolymer-2, Phenoxyethanol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Trehalose, Urea, Ethylhexyglycerin, Styrene/ VP Copolymer, Hydrogenated Phosphatidylcholine, Serine, Citrus Sinensi Extract, Citric Acid, Carnosine, Bifida Ferment lysate, Glyceryl Polyacrylate, Algin, Caprylyl GLycol, Sodiu Hyaluronate, Pullulan, Disodium Phosphate, Citrus Lemon(lemon) peel oil, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower oil, Eletteria Cardamomum Seed Oil, Citrus Auratium Bergamia ( bergamot) Fruit Oil, LEontopodium Alpinum Extract, Sodium Acetylated hyaluronate, Hydrolysed sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate (medium - size HA), Butylene Glycol, Cananga Odorata Flower Oil, Polianthes Tuberosa Extract, Potassium Phosphate, Collagen, Sorbic Acid, Palmitoyl Tripeptide- 5, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbet, Ceteareth -20, Caprylic/ Capric Triglyceride, Polyglyceryl-10 Stearate, Ceramide 3, Polysorbate 20, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Maltodextrin, Palmitoyl Hexapeptide-12, Sytinga vulgaris (lilac) Extract.
How is it different from Hada Labo Hydrating Water Gel?
Other than the 4 types of hyaluronic acid (HA), it also contains of Ceramide and Lilac & Swiss Edelweiss Essences.
Ceramide- Contains high moisturising nutrients that penetrate deeply into skin and strengthen skin barrier to protect against moisture loss and environmental aggressors.
4 types of Hyaluronic Acid (HA)- combines 3D HA, medium- sized HA, Super HA and Nano HA to lock, replenish and restore moisture deeply into skin, layer by layer to form an effective moisture barrier for perfectly moisturised skin.
Lilac & Swiss Edelweiss Essences- Effectively minimise pores and controls oil for a fresh, dewy skin.
Minimise pores! Minimise pores! minimise pores! I have to say it three times as my current skin concern is actually large pores. After using Hada Labo Hydrating Water Gel, dry skin isn't an issue anymore. Now what? New formula that can minimise pores?? Damn, I gotta try!
When I first applied this hydrating snow dew, I actually agreed with the name ' snow dew'. The texture is like snow/ sorbet, that melts instantly when being applied. Kinda cool to be honest.
I can't comment on the long term effect yet as I've only been applying this for a week now, but here are some instant effects that I can tell:
- Hada Labo Hydrating Water Gel absorbs better into the skin
- When I apply sunscreen after Hydrating Snow Dew, it turns flaky and the residues came off (Note: I did wait for it to be fully absorbed before I apply my sunscreen)
- My boyfriend told me that my skin looks clearer *PS he doesn't know I tried new product.
- doesn't cause breakouts/ blemish
- doesn't smell weird
As for the pores, so far they stay the same, but it is understandable as it requires longer time to see the effect. Hopefully.
This product has gentle formula. Low irritation. Free of colorants, alcohol, fragrance, mineral oil, paraben, MIT & Diglycol.
It is suitable for normal/ oily skin.
If Hada Labo Hydrating Water Gel still exists, I would still buy it tho, since it absorbs better into my skin and doesn't leave residue when I applied sunscreen on top.
⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
Will I repurchase? Definitely yes, since Hada Labo Hydrating Water Gel is no longer available.
