Review on Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Supercharged Complex Synchronized Recovery

Review on Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Supercharged Complex Synchronized Recovery

I've heard a lot about Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair product on how effective and amazing it is. Even my mom is a fan of Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair. So one day when I was shopping with my mom, I got carried away by the promoter's persuasive words. "Girl, you should try Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye for your dark circles, it works wonders", she said. It may not be persuasive to you, but it hits right in my jelly since I have serious DARK circles and slightly sunken eyes since high school no matter how much I sleep, and I would like to get rid of them like immediately. So there goes my "kaching kaching".

According to Estee Lauder, its 10X Concentrated Repair Technology helps repair the visible impact of lack of sleep, UV, pollution, even blue light. It's proven to reveal a bright, hydrated, visibly revived look with comprehensive benefits for the eye area:

  • REPAIRS- Dramatically reduces the look of every key sign of eye aging, including puffiness, lines and dryness.
  • BRIGHTENS DARK CIRCLES in just 3 weeks.
  • HYDRATES for 24 hours thanks to a potent hydration booster, including Hyaluronic Acid.
  • PREVENTS free radical damage with 8-hour anti-oxidant power—part of their multi-action anti-pollution defense technology.

Their exclusive ChronoluxCB™  helps promote skin’s natural repair process, which is vital for eyes that look younger, renewed and recharged. The lightweight GelCreme texture absorbs quickly, leaving skin feeling soft and silky.

Performance

I've been using it for around 3 months and well, I can't comment on its effect on fine lines as I do not have fine lines around my eyes. I can't comment on eye puffiness either since mine is sunken instead of puffy. But for the hydrating part, it really does work. The skin around my eyes does look soft and smooth the next day after applying. However, it does not lighten my dark circles at all, and my eyes are still sunken. (Note: I sleep 8 hours or more every night and no, I am not dehydrated.) Besides, they claimed that it absorbs quickly, but this is not the case for me. Somehow it leaves residue on my skin and it is hard for me to apply sunscreen and make up during the day. Hence, most of the time I only apply it at night, unless I decided to rot at home. Maybe this is why it doesn't work that well for my dark circles?

I would still recommend this product if the purpose of buying is not for dark circles, since there are a lot of good reviews on its anti-aging effect. I will still use it as prevention of wrinkles. Maybe in the future I might write a blog about me not having wrinkles thanks to Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Supercharged Complex?

Overall, I am quite disappointed as it does not help with my dark circles at all.

In short,
Pros:

  • Hydrates and leaves skin feeling soft and smooth
  • Smells alright
Cons:
  • Does not brighten dark circles
  • Does not absorb quickly
  • Expensive (RM275)
